aims & goals

The group works within the South of England region to promote and guard the welfare of the Arabian horse. We are happy to try to help in welfare cases and members can contact Wendy Carr  or any of the committee who will endeavour to assist.
We aim to promote the Arabian not only as a show horse but as a versatile riding horse capable of competing across the spectrum of disciplines at all levels. A wonderful riding horse for riders of all ages and abilities and we work closely with The Arab Horse Society UK in this.

The group provides three shows a year for members all are affiliated to the AHS and the Summer Show has C show status from ECAHO and has Horse of the Year Show, Cherif Championship, British Arabian Championship, Anglo & Part Bred Inhand Championships, Midland Group Young Rider Malvern Qualifier, AHS  National Show qualifiers, Balanced Horse Feeds Championship Qualifiers, Crabbett Organisation Class and PUK qualifier classes.
We have successful dressage teams who’s results at Malvern have been second to none for many years.

The group actively provide sponsorship each year to various charities and events for 2006 they are:
ILPH, The Brook Hospital, The Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund, The British Arabian Championships, Red Wings, SPANA, AHS Welfare the AHS Marathon and AHS
Endurance.
